Henry is 7 months old!

Henry is growing up so fast! I can't believe how time is flying by! I probably says this in every post (LOL)! Now that he is eating solids he is really enjoying them. He is eating rice cereal, sweet potatoes with cinnamon, bananas, blueberries & bananas, green beans, peas, pears, apples with cinnamon and carrots all made by me. I just love making baby food with my baby food maker:) I can't wait to make more tasty combinations after he has tried all of his fruits and veggies! What has Henry been up to this month? Well, Henry is still trying to master the sippy cup and he loves to munch on Baby Mum Mums. He can sit on his own for lengthy periods of time and roll over instantly when he is put on his belly. Henry is still working on rolling from back to front, but likes to scoot on his back/butt to get to something his interested in.  He continues to put everything in his mouth and sleep all night.  Henry also went to the park for the first time this month because of all of the nice weather we have been having this month.  He really enjoyed his first time on the baby swing:)

Henry is 6 months old!

Henry has reached his half birthday, which seems unbelievable to me!  It seems like only yesterday that he was born and our lives were change forever.  He is doing so much these days.  Henry went on his first out of state trip to Florida at the end of the month, where he went swimming for the first time and started eating rice cereal.  Henry is also rolling over like crazy from front to back.  It won't be long before he is rolling over from back to front, as he has almost has done a couple of times now.  Additionally, Henry still continues to make raspberries up a storm, he has started to smack his lips together, scoot on his back and stomach, cut teeth (he has two!), drop, throw, and bang things, mouth everything in his path, smile and giggle, sit up without help  for a few seconds, and drink water from a sippy cup. At his doctors appointment this week, we found out that Henry is 16 lb and 4 oz and that he is 26 and 1/4 inches long. Today Henry will be going in for his circumcision (my poor little monkey)! So I am a little nervous, but I know God will be with him:)

Henry's First Vacation out of State!

Madeira Beach, Fl
Henry had a wonderful first vacation! He went swimming for the first time. He ate rice cereal for the first time. Henry also went to the beach, the zoo, and Spring Training with the Tigers. Henry did such a great job riding in the car, playing with Grammy Matthews all the way to Florida and then back again. He had so much fun! He can't wait to go back:)

Warming up in beach shelter. It was a little windy at the beach that day.
Henry is not sure of the each...too windy!
