Henry is 5 months old today!

It's hard to believe that my little monkey is 5 month old today! He is growing up so fast. He is now about 27 inches long. We will find out how much he weighs at his 6 month check up next month.  This month Henry rolled over for the first time, started making raspberries, and played in his Bumbo seat for the first time. He loves to play with his cloth blocks, rattles, keys, chew rings, piano and listen to stories and music.  He also loves to play on his Rainforest gym, swing in his swing, and jump in his Rainforest jumperoo.  Henry is fascinated with his hands and recently has found his feet.  He has begun to grab on to them when we change him. On the down side, Henry seems to hate his baths lately.  I think it is the cold weather.  No matter how warm we make the bathroom he cries bloody murder. Hopefully, he will enjoy his baths again soon. Its hard to believe that he will soon be starting solids and sitting up.  I can't wait to see what the coming weeks will bring!

My Big Boy Chair!

Today, I put Henry in his Bumbo seat, aka his big boy chair.  He had so much fun exploring his toys from a different point of view. I even got a great smile! Totally in love with this little boy:)

Henry rolled over!

Henry rolled over for the first time today! He rolled over three times  from front to back. His disbelieve was so adorable.  I was so glad I got one on video for daddy and that one of us was home to see it:) Our lil monkey is on the move!

Henry is 4 months!

Henry had his 4 month check up today! He weighed 14 pounds and 13 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches tall. Henry loves to talk to mommy and daddy, he loves being read stories, he likes playing on his play gym and he also likes playing in his new jumperoo.  He is starting to suck his thumb more and hold onto toys.  He may even roll over soon. He keeps kicking his legs to the point of almost turning on his side. We'll see what happens...

Henry's First Christmas!

Christmas was a whirl wind this year.  Not being off a week before Christmas through me for a loop or two, but I survived. Henry had a wonderful first Christmas! Most of which he will not remember, like the Christmas tree falling over or not having any snow. Henry was terribly spoiled this year by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends;)  We truly appreciated everyone thinking of our lil monkey this holiday season:)

Henry Visits Santa!

Henry went to see Santa at the Somerset Collection in Troy with Grammy Matthews and mommy.  Henry loved meeting Santa and can't wait to see what Santa will leave him under the Christmas tree:)
