Henry is 11 months old!
It's hard to believe that my little monkey will be turning one next month! Where has the time gone? We have had so much fun this summer! Now we have less than a month to spend together. Mommy has to go back to work on the 20th of August and Henry will be starting daycare for the first time. It will be hard but, I know we will both get through it.
Henry has been a very busy boy this month. He is crawling a lot more and walks around the coffee table and then to the couch while holding on every chance he gets. He plays all over the house leaving a path of toys in his wake. Henry loves to explore everything and anything that is around him. He went on his first boat ride this month and was fascinated with the noisy engine and the bubbles it created in the water. We also went on a trip to Home Depot last week and he became very interested in the large hand saw the gentleman was using to cut bench seats for me. A lady stopped as she walked by and said wow no reaction (she thought he would cry), he must like it! Just recently Henry learned to pant like a doggy:) It is so cute!
Henry is getting to be a very big boy. He is 34 inches and about 25 pounds. He is between sizes 12 months and 18 months because of his height. Everywhere we go everyone always says what a big boy he is. Who knows what the next month will bring...maybe a full time walker? We will see. Until then we are gearing up for Henry's big day...his 1st Birthday:)

Henry is 10 months old today!
Henry is such a trooper! He rolled down the stairs today after mommy got her toe stuck in her stupid pant leg and tripped. Mommy will never wear those pants again while carrying her precious Henry! On the lighter side, Henry is quite the big boy these days. He is trying so hard to crawl forward, but he mostly goes backwards. He also loves to walk, while assisted and has been trying to pull himself up more and more. He chews on anything he can get his hands on. His 10 month sticker bit the dust about 20 minutes after I put it on him;) Henry has 7 teeth and is in 18 month clothing. Henny enjoys being outside. He loves to watch things blow in the wind, see cars ride by, explore things in the grass, splash in his swimming pool, watch bubble float by, and go to the park. Soon it will be time for Henry's 1st Birthday. We will be having a Curious Henry themed party:)

Henry is 9 months!
Henry is 9 months old! At his 9 month visit, he was 21 lb. 4 oz. and 29 1/4 inches long. He gained 5 lbs since his last visit! I credit that to all of the healthy solid foods he has been eating:) Henry eats almost everything. A variety of fruits and veggies, fish, pasta, chicken, turkey, beef, yogurt, cottage cheese and whole grain cereal. He also loves many finger foods like yogurt bites, Ritz Bits cheese crackers, crackers, baby mum mum's rice rusks, cheese, grilled cheese, pita and hummus, fruits, and veggies (I could go on). He still drinks formula, but cuts down on it more and more each month. Henry also drinks water from a sippy cup. We have not given him juice yet and will hold off as long as possible.
We are not sure if Henry will crawl or walk first. He scoots on his back, scoots backwards on his tummy, stands and hold on to a table, and walks holding onto an adults fingers. Henry has 4 teeth and one on the way. I just bought him a tooth brush and toddler toothpaste to start brushing his teeth with. Henry is still a great sleeper. He sleeps 11 to 12 hours and still takes 2 naps a day:) I thank god every day for giving me such a wonderful sleeper and teether! Henry loves to babble, say dada, mama, and baba. I can't wait to be home this summer with him! We will be going on many adventures together and eating yummy foods. We may even start potty training...
